Harrison Street Station Shops offer business start-ups an advantage to start selling products and services of interest to guests of Harrison Street Square (HSQ). Station merchants operating shops will be additionally connected to consumers from yearly Oswego Farmers’ Market, Wine on the Fox, Holiday Walks, and all other events held downtown. HSQ also presents a unique opportunity and advantage to sellers by its spacious surrounding outdoor retail center with food court and close parking.
Brand new to the downtown will be (8) 12×14 interactive and unique Train Station Shops available and already considering a number of applicants for the 2026 season waiting list. We are encouraging all applicants to submit a business plan with your application.
All Harrison Street Station Shop merchants are required to maintain throughout the Leasing Season:
1) Business EIN
2) Pay Local Oswego & State of Illinois Tax
3) Carry Current Business Liability Insurance on Space and Products. If your business type requires licensing, proof of that will be required also.
-No businesses which requires potable water or food service preparation will be permitted at this time. Please contact HSQ directly for Food Service and Restaurant Space availability.
-No refunds for merchant cancellations will be given. Merchants may not sublet their location to another vendor. Merchants who do so will forfeit their lease and will not receive a refund. Only operators listed and approved on the original lease agreement will be allowed to operate a Station.
Applications for the 2026 Season will be accepted no later than Dec 15, 2025
Rental Info & Station Hours
Each 12 x 14 Station Shop will be leased for 1 year or longer and equipped with heating, cooling, lighting and power.
Rent for each shop monthly is $500.00 plus a $500.00 security deposit for upcoming the 2026 season.
Hours: Jan 1– December 31, 2026 (Tentatively)
Friday: 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday: Noon to 4 pm
***Please note the dates and times below are the operators’ minimum requirements. Vendors are encouraged to stay open longer than the minimum requirements. *Monday through Sunday hours are available for business.
